Torah Bright is more than just a snowboarder-she's a dynamic woman of the slopes whose image has graced more magazine pages and video clips than any other female rider in existence. Her stunning skill garners the attention-but so does her personal magnetism and dazzling charm. Yep, everyone loves Torah, and she returns those kind vibes triple-fold.
Ms. Bright hails from the land down under, but this talented 23 year old is no stranger to the snow. She grew up on the slopes of Cooma, Australia in a family of ski racers and snow lovers. At age eleven she traded in skiing for snowboarding (following the example of her older brother and current coach Ben), and it's been "all systems go" ever since. She now calls Salt Lake City, Utah home, but as the seasons dictate, Torah returns to the southern hemisphere in search of snow (and the odd surf session or two).
Four-time X-Games podium finisher, former and future Olympian, and winner of both the Burton Global Open Series and the TTR World Tour titles, Torah is one of the winningest women in snowboarding history. Her progressive tricks and technical combos have single-handedly pushed women's snowboarding to a whole new level-not to mention making her a serious gold-medal threat at the upcoming Vancouver Olympics. She's also one stylish lady, whether it be trick execution or executing the perfect ensemble, and the buzz surrounding her signature "Roxy Bright Edition" line is proof. Charismatic, innovative, and amazingly hard working, Ms. Bright is a commanding force of influence in both snowboarding and the realms of popular culture beyond.
