Where is your favorite place to vacation? Why? My life is a vacation. I guess Melbourne, Australia would have to be my fav. I like to go to the city every now and then just for a change of pace. My own neighborhood feels like a vacation some times. I can skate or bike anywhere I want to go, including the beach. The weather is great and I love San Diego so it’s pretty much a vacation everyday here. |

What is your favorite piece of clothing? Why? Dirty jeans. There is nothing like a good pair of worn in jeans. Preferably a pair of standard 5 pocket straight leg jeans. |

Do you have any special talents? I can cook a mean meal. I learned to cook from my mom first and then spent heaps of time with my granny who gave me all of her recipes and passed on her general knowledge in the kitchen to me. |

Bio At this moment surfing is my life. I'm blessed to be able to surf and travel. in the past few months I've been to the east coast, samoa, ecuador and the galapagos and OZ. this year I'm looking forward to returning to biarritz for the world championship in july. in the meantime I'm training and enjoying the freedom of my lifestyle. I love to spend time with the fam and my boxer dog, Colin.
I've been surfing for so long that I can't remember a time when I didn't surf. my dad is a surfer and taught me. I did my first contest in '96 when I was ten. started traveling internationally to surf and compete in open women's longbording when I was 16. I've had my best comp results within the last two years. last year I placed 2nd in the world championship, and 4th at the roxy jam at cardiff. I clocked a 13 second noseride during the cardiff event. I'm always trying to progress and to improve my surfing and myself as a person.
In '07 my goal is to put my best into everything I do and not lose sight of the fact that I'm living a dream. oh yeah, and I may have my sights on the podium.
